The DC Black Fashion and Art show will celebrate African American culture by putting on display the significance of our impact on both fashion and art.
This showcase will assemble some of the industry's leading innovators, influencers, and consumers in the nation's capital.

CURRENT OUTLOOK
Major cities like New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco host yearly Fashion Weeks that attracts hundreds of thousands of people generating over a millions in additional consumer spending per year
African Americans are known for having a huge impact on both industries from both the creative side and consumer side
As a result, Black Fashion weeks are starting to appear in major American Cities like Chicago and Kansas City. Washington DC is known to be at the center of American culture, being melting pot like other major cities and is known for having large Black / African American Population, with African Americans making up 45.4% of population
Join us as we celebrate black excellence with our black designers, models and artists. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet our designers, models and artist.

WHY
The Juneteenth foundation is focused on celebrating and serving our community with services and programs that bring awareness and education to all.
Fashion and Art are the cornerstones of Black History and our culture. This event provides an elevated platform to acknowledge black excellence and creativity during Black History Month.
This event will provide scholarships to aspiring youth who are talented in the Arts to continue pursuing their educational goals and provide a pathway for success
